MQHZ Applauds World Bank’s US$50 Million Grant To Zambia

Medical for Quality Healthcare in Zambia (MQHZ) has applauded World Bank’s US$50 million grant to Zambia for the Health Emergency Preparedness, Response, and Resilience Project.

Speaking in an interview with Money News, Organization Director Dr. Quince Mwabu says this landmark initiative will strengthen the country’s health system resilience and enhance multisectoral preparedness as well as response to health emergencies across Eastern and Southern Africa.

Dr. Mwabu states that the project perfectly aligns with the organization’s mission to deliver exceptional healthcare services.

He notes that that by bolstering emergency preparedness and response systems, this grant will save countless lives and mitigate the impact of health crises.

Recently, Government launched the US$50 million Zambia Health Emergency Preparedness Response and Resilience Project under the support of the World Bank and other cooperating partners.
