FNB Zambia Contributes Over K1.5 Billion to Tax Revenue in Three Years

First National Bank (FNB) Zambia has disclosed that it has contributed over K1.5 billion to the country’s tax revenue in the last three years.

Speaking at a breakfast meeting with Zambia Revenue Authority (ZRA) in Lusaka today, Bank Chief Executive Officer Kapumpe Chola says the financial is committed to driving tax compliance through innovation and education.

Ms. Chola said the bank believes that compliance is not just an obligation but a pathway to growth.

“By simplifying tax processes and providing the right tools, businesses are empowered to thrive while contributing to Zambia’s developmental agenda,” Ms. Chola stated.

She added the Bank’s partnership with ZRA reflects its dedication to supporting clients with innovative solutions and actionable insights.

And ZRA Director of Tax Education, Mirriam Sabi, reiterated the importance of education on tax compliance.

Ms. Sabi said tax compliance is vital to ensuring that every Kwacha is accounted for in supporting critical national programs such as healthcare, infrastructure, and education.

“Partnerships like this, bridge the gap between policy and practice, equipping businesses with the knowledge they need to succeed,” Ms. Sabi said.
