Energy Expert Applauds The Construction of The Zambia-China Solar Joint Centre in Lusaka
An Energy Expert says construction of the Zambia-China Solar Joint Centre in Lusaka will improve the country’s energy efficiency in the long run.
Speaking in an interview with Money News, Boniface Zulu says the move might also be a base for a future local solar manufacturing plant.
Engineer Zulu notes that the project will enable knowledge transfer and skill sharing in the solar industry.
He adds that knowledge transfer is essential in empowering Zambians with the skills on how to build their own solar systems locally based on what they learn from foreign experts.
A Zambia-China Solar Joint Centre is set to be constructed at the National Institute of Public Administration (NIPA), aimed at empowering and equipping young people with the skills needed to drive Zambia’s Green Energy Solution.
